Attention Ford Collectors and Enthusiasts!
This custom 1971 Ford F-100 is a true survivor, almost all original and has less than 15,000 original miles. It comes with many documents to verify that it was actually driven as low as just a few hundred miles every year since new. When you open up the door to this truck and look inside, you truly won't believe your eyes. It is that perfect and special.
This truck was meticulously cared for by the original owner who took delivery of his special order truck in September 1970. The owner placed many tags with dates and miles on the truck for service work he performed in the first 20 years.
You will be amazed that he kept the first gas receipt, the last gas receipt and every gas receipt in between. He even noted mileage with every fill up. The notes, stickers and tags show just how much the original owner cared for this unique and very special truck and truly adds to it's history.
We have most of the original paperwork including the Owner Warranty Card with the Protect-O-Plate and the original Owner's Manual. Also included are registration papers documenting dates and miles for almost every year from new to 2008 when the truck was last registered.
Pride in ownership and perfect climate has kept this truck in fantastic, gently used condition. The truck also has all of its original paint finishes, interior, and rubber seals. The original paint has a fantastic shine inside and out! The truck was fortunate to survive with only a few scratches, chips, and dings. All could be touched up but they only add character to this incredible truck.
The interior is in near mint condition and one of the seat belts is still in the original plastic sleeve. All the rubber seals and bump stops are soft and pliable. All original glass is in great condition, even the wipers are the original Trico’s. All the original chrome on the front bumper and trim is in fantastic condition with deep shine.
There are three original Ford tags that come with the truck. One on the horn for the radiator fluid, one on the power steering box checking it off as safe to drive and one on the side of the transmission. The spare tire also has the original markings and the manufacturer's sticker. The tags are not perfect but they are a great indicator of the excellent road conditions when the truck was driven.
The original owner added the electric trailer brake under the steering column, the mud flaps, tow package, trans cooler and the topper shell. Talk about perfect inside and out, the bed of the pickup was fitted with a custom board to protect the bed of the truck and the bed of the pickup is literally perfect with no signs of rust. The camper topper is like new in showroom condition on the inside with just a few flaws on the outside.
We considered taking the camper topper off this truck and selling it seperately but it just seems to be made for this truck and in such great condition that when you see it you will understand why we decided to keep it on the truck.
There are very few issues with this amazing truck. The original exhaust system was replaced with a brand new Flowmaster exhaust system which sounds great. Also, the fuel pump had to be replaced but we still have the original fuel pump that goes with the truck.
There is way too much to tell about this amazing truck to be able to put it all here. But if you are looking for an all original classic truck that truly could be driven every day, or put on display in the Ford museum, then this truck is for you.
